To secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the opportunity to realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.

Arc's statewide and national position statements address critical issues related to rights, treatment, services and programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

An expanded network of involved citizens, improved access to services and fostering of welcoming, supportive communities for people with disabilities and their families are all a part of the recently adopted Arc Strategic Vision 2011.
