There's Always Something New on the ArcShop® Menu!
ArcShops are educational workshops and forums on a variety of disability related topics:
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
- Aging and people with disabilities
- Caregiver support
- Community inclusion
- Direct support workforce issues
- Employment
- Faith inclusion
- Guardianship
- Housing
- Recreation options
- Transition to adulthood
ArcShops are typically two hours long and feature an expert speaker, with time for participants' questions. ArcShops are free or offered at a discount for Arc members; and open to non-members for a fee.
Half-day, day-long or two-day forums are presented periodically as well, delving into topics in more detail. There is usually a charge for forums, with members receiving a discount.
