GetSet!^® Training for Special Education Success

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) guarantees children with disabilities a "free, appropriate, public education." Arc's GetSet! Training for Special Education Success is a three-part workshop series designed to guide participants through the special education process for children birth to age 21.

Session 1: Introduction to the Special Education Process
Session 2: Developing Your Child's IEP
Session 3: IEP Implementation, Problem-Solving and Communication

In addition, The Arc can provide training on any special education issue upon request (i.e. early childhood, extended school year and behavior issues at school).

Ramiro Agudo Arias and his mother, Hilda Arias, have high hopes for the school year. Because of advocacy from The Arc, Ramiro is now getting the special education services and therapies he needs, and he's making progress in many ways.
