Arc’s Annual Member PicnicAugust 20, 2009A rare day of rain in the summer of 2009 didn’t dampen members’ enthusiasm for the annual picnic at the Como Park Pavilion. Over 300 people turned out to enjoy a feast of chicken, fruit, coleslaw, veggies and more, topping off their dinner with a dilly bar, courtesy of Dairy Queen. Members could also ride the Cafesjian’s Carousel for free, thanks to Our State Fair Carousel, Inc. and try out canoeing on Lake Como provided by Wilderness Inquiry. Wells Fargo brought face painters, temporary tattoos, door prizes and a balloon artist, along with many wonderful volunteers. Thanks to all! |
