Arc Offers Two-Part 'ABCs of Guardianship' Workshop in Burnsville April 19 & 26

MINNEAPOLIS – Parents and family caregivers who are considering guardianship for a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability are invited to The ABCs of Guardianship, a two-part workshop from Arc Greater Twin Cities coming to Burnsville April 19 & 26.

The ABCs of Guardianship provides tools and information to help families make an informed decision about guardianship for their loved one. It answers the key questions about guardianship, including how to analyze your family’s needs, how to select a guardian and how to file for guardianship.

Both sessions will be held on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Burnsville City Hall, Lower Level Community Room, 100 Civic Center Parkway, Burnsville. The series is free for Arc members and for those who join Arc when they register. The cost of each session for non-members is $20 per person.
