Parents who have a child with an intellectual or developmental disability nearing adulthood often wonder what housing options are available and what part they can play in their child's future. Or perhaps their loved one is now an adult, and the family is just beginning to explore housing alternatives. At this workshop from Arc Greater Twin Cities, families can get a comprehensive overview of current housing and service funding options. The workshop will also feature a panel of individuals who are either exploring housing options, currently pursuing creative housing ideas or have successfully developed a unique housing situation. This workshop is also a great opportunity to network with others and map out creative new housing alternatives for people with disabilities. Space is limited - register soon! Date: Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Location: Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center for Community Building/Neighborhood House, Room 212, 179 Robie Street E., St. Paul.
