Understanding, Accessing and Applying for Medicaid Waivers

If you have a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability, learn more about Medicaid waivers, an important source of services for many people with disabilities. Speaker Mike Seiwert, Developmental Disabilities Unit Supervisor in Dakota County, will give an overview of the different types of Medicaid waivers and how they relate to persons with disabilities. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions about waivers and the process of obtaining them. Date: Friday, April 11, 2008. Time: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Location: Christ the King Church, 8600 Fremont Ave. S., Bloomington. Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 9. Cost: $15 per person at the door.
