SS, SSI, SSDI, and RSDI: Social Security for People with Disabilities

Social Security is a crucial government benefit program for many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but there are many Social Security programs, and it’s important to know which ones are right for you and your family. At this forum, guest speaker Jim Czechowicz, a public affairs specialist with the Social Security Administration, will outline Social Security programs designed for people with disabilities, including Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Retirement, Survivors and Disability Insurance (RSDI). He will also answer questions about Social Security from participants. Location: Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave. S., Bloomington. Date: Friday, April 27. Time: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Cost: $15 per person at the door. Registration deadline: April 23.
