If your child has been diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder, learn more about this disorder and how to cope with it at a one-day workshop from Arc Greater Twin Cities and the Dakota County Family Support Committee. Guest speaker Robbie Holen, Director of Occupational Therapy for SPOT Rehab in St. Cloud, will define sensory integration, discuss the theory of sensory integration, describe how the sensory systems work together and explain what happens when there is dysfunction. She will also discuss techniques and strategies parents can use at home with their child. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Date: Saturday, April 28, 2007.
