Understanding Social Security

Social Security is a crucial government benefit program for many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but the Social Security system can be confusing and hard to navigate. Find your way through the Social Security maze at this workshop from Arc Greater Twin Cities. Guest speaker Jim Czechowicz, a public affairs specialist with the Social Security Administration, will explain disability programs such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), and Retirement, Survivors and Disability Insurance (RSDI). He will also answer questions about Social Security from the audience. Join us for this valuable session and get on the right path to a more secure future for you and your family!
